Day 2--Not so bad
Day 3--A little greasy
Day 4--Greaseball. Seriously. It's a little nasty. I'm going to try to stick it out. I read that you can comb corn starch through it to help.
I'm thinking I shouldn't wash my hair every day (unless I run or something)...she implies that on the page, though she doesn't say how often to wash. Hmmm...
We shall see how it goes.
My race is in 9 days.
9. Days.
I was hoping to run today, but I don't know if it will happen due to the weather we are having.
My garden is growing well, but some pesky pests are eating holes in my bean leaves. I am researching some natural pest killers. If you have ideas, I'd love 'em.
I really don't have much to say, but I knew for sure you needed a shampoo update. :)
So, how often are you washing your hair? I think I'm going to try this, but my hair is super greasy if I wash my hair with the harsh stuff and then don't wash it the next day. I'm scared.
ReplyDeleteDiatomaceous earth is a great pest control- totally natural. You can even put it around kids and pets and it won't hurt them. We even put it in our cats food when they have worms. Awesome stuff!
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about Neem Oil, it's supposed to deter all sorts of pests and it is just an aromatic natural oil of some kind. This is for your garden, not your hair! ;)
ReplyDeleteI tried this and couldn't go completely shampoo free, I had a really itchy, flakey scalp and the flakey greasy combo lasted about two months no matter what I tried to rinse with to help. Not fun. I now have a happy medium in using sulphate and paraben free organic shampoo and conditioner and I can get away with washing my hair one or at most twice a week.
ReplyDeleteThis is great though for people who can stick it out and who's scalps agree with the concept ;). I'd love to be completely shampoo free but hey, at least I'm not covering my head in chemicals anymore.
Good luck with the run!
