What to say...

it's hard to think of things on Mondays. Even if we had a good weekend.

And we did.

But, I'm tired. It's Monday; did I mention it? I have a pile of things to do in my mind. I want to do the fun stuff first, but I feel like I have to do the unfun stuff instead. I wish I had a friend over who would chat to me while I did stuff. That would help distract.

I used to do Flylady.

I'm reading the Sidetracked Home Executives book (what Flylady is based on).

There are so many good ideas. But, I'm afraid that the problem lies within.

ME.

I am the problem. There! I said it! I make a lot of excuses for why my house is messy and dirty. I don't like to do housework, so more often than not, I don't do it. Seriously.

So, please turn over a new leaf with me today. Let's get our shoes on and put things back where they belong. Let's step away from the computer. Let's get moving.

Who's with me?

  2. I have been re-reading Sink Reflections and trying to get myself in gear. I am proud to say I have shoes on, now I need to start cleaning.

  3. I've been re-reading my copy of Sink Reflections this past week, and am trying so hard to get back on track. It's just a matter of making it a habit, but I so dislike cleaning. But I think I might like it a bit, if I did not let it get to the overwhelming point. LET'S DO THIS THING!! Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. If only I liked to clean as much as I liked to read blogs! I resorted to child labor today. I gave Freddy a bucket of soapy water and a big sponge and had him "mop" the living room. He did a pretty good job, so I feel accomplished today!

  5. I completely missed the contest! I was scolling down and awghh! I'm glad for Christy and the beautiful purse she's going to get! I will pray for Lucy. Time flies, I can't believe she's 15 months old! Get someone to come and help you clean once every two weeks, once every week. It is not a waste of money. It is a blessing to you, your kids, your house, your friends. Okay, rambling... lots of love to you. I love you, my friend.
